My Sweet 6 year old

Well, I finally have a little time today to do this post.  I wanted to show you the layout I made of my other daughter.  I absolutely love this picture, doing this layout was a lot of fun.  It is hard to believe that she is only six years old.  She is such a fun girl with a spunky personality.

B. Couture Photography is so great!  She is really fun to work with and her photos are wonderful!

This layout was also from a Liz Qualman sketch
I made my own patterned paper using a stamp set from My Cute Stamps
A Martha Stewart border punch
Butterflies cut from the Indie Art Cartridge
Circles cut with George and BS
Ribbon is from Michaels
I used black stickles in the center of the butterflies
and I used Glossy Accents on the butterfly wings

Thanks for visiting my blog, I hope you liked what you saw and come back for more inspiration.

My beautiful 13 year old

Hi everyone, sorry it has been a while.  Life just got a little busy.  But I am hoping to get back into the swing of things.  I am actually busy creating.  I am getting ready for a booth that I have at my upcoming Peach Days Celebration here in my small community.  Hey, if anybody has any suggestions on things to make that would sell let me know I am always open to new ideas.

Today I want to share with you a page layout I made of my beautiful 13.5 year old.  She will be 14 in October.  I really like this picture, she is so pretty.

I got the layout design from a Liz Qualman sketch
Paper is from a DCWV stack & flower paper is from Bo Bunny
Cartridges: Home Decor, George & BS, Accent Essentials
I used a Martha Stewart border punch
The gems in the flowers are from Doodlebug

True Love stories..

Good morning!
I am sharing with you today a wedding card that I made for a special bride, whom I am pretty close to.  She is having her bridal shower this saturday.  Her colors were kind-of different but in the end I like how it turned out.  Simple and elegant.

Bride Stamp is from My Cute Stamps
(Colored with colored pencils)
The sentiment stamp, I believe, is from a Fiskars set all about love
Silver Embossing powder from Stampendous
Martha Stewart border punch
Silver stickles

Thanks for stopping by!  See you next time!

You're Fintastic!

Well, I just had my June Card Swap for the month and wanted to share with you what I made.  Our theme was just to use summer colors.

I wanted to go back to the way I used to do a lot of my cards by coloring in a cute stamp.  I haven't done it for a while and just felt like making a card that way.  So here it is:

Stampin' Up stamp set and ink
Versamark ink
Clear embossing powder from Stampendous
Cuttlebug-Divine Swirls
I colored my image with colored pencils and chalk
(I don't have Copic or Pro Markers, which I would love to try)
I glittered her crown
the bubbles have glossy accents on them

I hope you like it, let me know, I love reading comments!
Thanks for visiting my blog and I hope you come back soon!

Here Comes the Bride

Good day to you all.  Here is a quick post between all my running around today.

This is a card I made for a girl I used to teach in Young Womens a while ago.  She is getting married!  She is a very fun girl with lots of personality.  I had fun making her card and I hope she likes it too.

I used Mini-Monograms
The stamp set is from Stampin' Up
I used some pencils and chalk for coloring the bride
I made the patterned paper using the stamp set
the top of the card I used my Cuttlebug on some vellum and then scraped some ink over it.
I used a tiny dab of stickles on the flowers

I hope you like it, let me know what you think!  Thanks for visiting!

Connor's Graduation Card

Good morning! Today I want to share with you a card I made for my nephew who is graduating on Monday.  He is the oldest grandchild in the family and I can rememeber helping take care of him when he was a baby!  Time sure does fly.

I went really simple with this card, after all it is for a boy.  And of course, I used his school colors.

I used my Gypsy to create this card and the Locker Talk cartridge
My Pink Stamper Stamps-Everyday Occasions
Heat Embossed with Stampendous Detail White Embossing Powder
Stickles on the Tassel (I couldn't resist, the card was just too bland)

Thanks for stopping by!

U are the best!

Good day to everyone!  Here is the card I made for my May card swap.  The theme was masculine to get ready for father's day.  I didn't even use my cricut for this one.

The stamp set is from Stampin Up, I used the Cuttlebug on my white paper, the striped paper is from Breezy Design, ink I used is from Stampin Up and Colorbox, the brads are just from my stash.

Thanks for visiting today, I hope you will come back soon!

Heartfelt Thanks

How is everyone this morning?  I wanted to do a quick post before we have to head out for swim lessons.
This is a card I made for my card swap group for the month of April.  I know it's June.  We actually haven't swapped cards in a couple of months because of different things happening with all of us.  But I am caught up now, so for our June swap I will have the cards for April, May and June.
The theme for April was just to use spring colors.  Well, I think of pastels during that time of year.  I ended up making it a thank you card, and I really like how it turned out.  So here it is:

I made my card on my gypsy with the Mini-Monograms cart.
The striped paper is from Breezy Design
Stamp set is from My Cute Stamps
"Heartfelt Thanks" stamp is MPS stamps-Simply Sweet Occasions
I stamped the images on DCWV pastel stack
Colorbox ink was used for stamping and edging
I shaded a little bit on my images with Pearlescent chalk from Pebbles Inc. (it doesn't really show in the picture but they really shimmer in the light.)

Thank you all for your support in visiting my blog.  Let me know what you think, I love comments!
Thank you for stopping by, taking a peek, and leaving a comment or two!
