Camping Card

I loved the idea Robyn (my pink stamper) had of giving her daughter a card with a gift basket for girls camp.  I took that idea and made one for my daughter.  It is her first year of camp and she is so excited and I'm so jealous!  Girls Camp is a blast!  The card I made totally fits her,(I think) and I showcased her favorite color with it ORANGE!
I am also using this card for the Pinkalicious Blog Hop that was last Friday, over at My Pink Stamper.  Make something that you think of for Summer.  Well, we go on a big campout with family every year and that combined with my daughters girls camp this is what I came up with.  Here it is!

I actually did not use my cricut at all on this card.  The paper is all cardstock that I had in my scraps.  I used the Happy Camper stamp set from Stampin' Up and also the ink is Stampin' Up.  I used Glossy Accents on the cirlce boot to make it stand out more.  I also popped up the cirlce with pop dots.  The eyelets were some I already had, I believe they were from Provo Craft.

Hope you like it, and I wish you all a great summer!

See you next time.

Guest Designer!!

I am so excited for today, I am a guest designer over at Inking it up Crazy with Kassidy!  She is celebrating her birthday this month-HAPPY BIRTHDAY KASSIDY!  All month long she is having different guest designers help her show off some of her favorite things, and having some great giveaways!

My assignment was to make something using SEI products.  I really like their products, especially their paper.  So with that here is what I created.

I got a little inspiration from Liz Qualman's sketches for this layout.

Recipe:
  • SEI and Bazzill cardstock
  • George and Basic Shapes for the small circle
  • American Crafts flowers
  • the "cute" is a chipboard piece I found in my stash
  • silver brads for the flower centers
I hope you all like it, I thought it turned out really cute.  To see more projects I have made using SEI just look at some of my most recent posts.  I have been playing with SEI for a while making different things, and this is just what I picked out for this special occasion.

Happy Father's Day!

To all the Dad's out there Happy Dad's Day!  I made a card for my husband and had my children write their messages in it along with mine.  We fixed Dad breakfast, and took it to him in bed.  I think he really appreciated it, even though we woke him up.
I am also entering this card into the MPS Color Challenge. Make something using Orange, Turquoise and Green.

Recipe:
SEI and Bazzill Cardstock
Simply Charmed Cartridge
Colorbox ink for shading
Stickles on the tie

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
See you tomorrow.

Carts used: once upon a princess, plantin schoolbook, gypsy wanderings
Inks: SEI and colorbox
and of course I used stickles!

Hope you like it, comments are welcome!

Personalized Book

Hello everyone,
I wanted to share with you a project I did the other day for my daughter.  She is headed up to her first year of Girls camp next week.  Our young women have decided to do Secret Sisters while up there.  My daughter's secret sister likes the color pink, and likes to draw, so we decided to get her a paper pad and personalize it for her.  My daughter came up with the design and what paper to use, but she made me put it together and do all the work.  We love the end result and she is so excited to see the reaction of her secret sister.

Cartridges used were: Plantin Schoolbook, Once upon a Princess, and Mickey and Friends.
We used stickles on the V and the butterfly.
The paper and ribbon were just what I had.  I believe the pink cardstock is Bazzill
I also used a Martha Stewart punch.

Thank you for stopping by!
