Tombstone Treat Boxes!

I have some fun Tombstone Boxes to share with you today that are perfect for some yummy little treats, or just decoration!

For this first one the box, skull and name came from the Happy Hauntings Cartridge.
I used Memento Grape Jelly to shade around the name, Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink for shading around the skull and Black Soot Distress Ink to shade the tombstone.  I popped up the skull with some foam adhesive and used a white gel pen for the definition around the tombstone.

This box was also cut with the Happy Hauntings cartridge. I used some Memento Grape Jelly Ink for the shading. I stamped the sentiment and spiders in Versamark ink and then heat embossed them with some black embossing powder from Stampendous.  The stamp sets used were Perfect Fit-Halloween from Close to My Heart and the spider came from the My Pink Stamper Spookalicious stamp set.

Halloween Monster Treat Bag

Hello my friends!  Today I am sharing with you a fun Halloween Monster Bag that you can fill with all kinds of goodies or trinkets and give to your friends or family!  These are a lot of fun to make and I think they turn out quite cute!

The Mini-Monsters cartridge was used to cut the bag. I used Bazzill Black Licorice and Marshmallow cardstocks, I think the stars paper is from Doodlebug but I don't remember- it was in my scrap stash.  I shaded the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink and added some dark purple ribbon for a handle (you just can't see it very good in the picture). Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue was the adhesive for this project. Just add a bag of goodies and tie it with some purple tulle and you're done!

Lots of Birthday Goody Bags!

Hello to all of my crafty friends, I will be sharing with you in the next few posts about some fun Birthday Goody Bags that I have made for my Relief Society sisters. In my ward they called me to the position of "The Birthday Girl". This means I am in charge of making sure all of the Women in my ward receive a little something for their Birthday. In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints we all have different jobs to do that we don't get paid for, we give of our time and talents freely to better serve the kingdom of God.
I just received this call about a month or so ago and so I got to work right away. It is amazing to me how many Birthdays there are everyday. I thought for the first year in this calling I would make something pretty easy to put together so I could get them their gifts quickly. Here are some of the first batch that I have made:

Here is the list of supplies I used, I get a lot of supplies from Simon Says Stamp
Stamps came from CTMH, Stampin' Up, My Pink Stamper, Fiskars,
 Studio 112, & TPC Studio
Ink from Memento: Rich Cocoa, Tuxedo Black, Rose Bud, Cloud White, & Thatched Straw
Pool Party Ink from Stampin' Up
Scallop Punch & Memory Colored Pencils from EK Success
Scotch 3M Mounting Foam
White Gel Pen
Washi Tape
Ribbon from my stash
All the Paper is scraps from my stash

Masculine Card for this month's card swap!

Good crafty day to you all, I want to share with you the card I made for my card swap group that met last night. Our theme this month was masculine to help us get ready for Father's day coming up.

I have to admit I hate making masculine cards, they are so hard for me because I am just a girly girl and like all the glitter and embellishments. And I love pink and bright colors.

I'm not sure how I feel about this card, the other ladies liked it though. Let me know what you think of it, I would love to hear your feedback. Well onto the card:

Supplies:
Tim Holtz "Life's Possibilities" stamp set
Versamark ink
Stampin' Up Early Espresso embossing powder & embossing buddy
Embossing folder from Darice
Mounting foam from Scotch 3M
cream and dark brown cardstock

World's Best Teacher!

Hello all, today I am sharing with you this fun home decor piece that I made for my daughter's 4th grade teacher. I love getting to know the teacher's and I ask them about their favorite color, hobbies, when their Birthday is, etc. That helps me in making fun gifts for them throughout the year.

This teacher's favorite color is hunter green so I chose a dark green to be the base for this project and it worked out so perfect because it made it look like a chalkboard. I really love how it turned out and she absolutely loved it and couldn't wait to hang it up in her classroom.

Here are the supplies I used:
Locker Talk, Doodlecharms, & Cricut Craft Room Basics cartridges
Some of the paper is from DCWV & Fancy Pants Designs
All the rest of the paper is scraps from my stash
"Hey Teacher" 3x4 stamp set from Simon Says Stamp
Versamark ink, Tea Dye Distress ink and Memento Rich Cocoa ink
Blending tool from Ranger
White Embossing Powder from Stampedous
Wink of Stella clear glitter brush pen
Tombow Mono Multi Glue

Relief Society Invitations

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day.
Well, my Relief Society Presidency in my ward came to me and asked if I could make the invitations for the big dinner that is coming up. I said sure, what is the theme?  When they told me the theme was "Women of Charity" I immediately got this image in my mind.

Supplies:
Recollections white cardstock, vellum & Gold Glitter paper
