September Card Swap!

We just had our September Card Swap last week, this month we had a theme of Halloween.  I love Halloween!!  I love to decorate and make fun projects for Halloween.  I went a little crazy on this card but I love how it turned out!

Cardstock from my stash and watercolor paper
Stamps: Close to my Heart
ink: versamark and Black Soot Distress ink
Black and white embossing powder
Inktense pencils for coloring
Stickles
Black fine tip marker
Ribbon
Googlie eyes
foam squares
shimmer spray (made with Perfect Pearls & water)

August Card Swap

I want to show you my card for my August Card Swap group.  Our theme for August was Fall or Thanksgiving.  I wanted to do a fall card because then you could use it for a thank you card as well. I really like the colors and how it all came together.

The cardstock is from my stash and the paper is from Fancy Pants.  I used and old Stampin' Up stamp set for the leaves, heat embossed them in clear, brown and gold.  I also clear embossed a Stampin' Up background stamp on the blue cardstock.  The Sentiment is a stamp from CTMH enhanced with a bronze fine tip marker. I used the marker to add some dashed lines to the dark brown cardstock also.  The dashed lines on the sentiment circle are done with a brown fine tip marker.  I used tea dye distress ink with a blending tool for the shading.

Soccer Team Treats!

I had to share what I made for the High School Girls Soccer Team!  All of us Soccer Moms are taking turns bringing a treat to the school on game days.  I delivered mine this morning, and I really like how they turned out and I hope the girls like them too!

The Soccer ball is a stamp that I heat embossed with black powder. I used a stamp from My Pink Stamper that says "You can do it!" in red ink from Stampin' Up.  I adhered them to a red circle punched from a 2 1/4" punch from EK Success and tied some tulle at the top.

Thank you for stopping by, taking a peek, and leaving a comment or two!
