My first card-making class, we made Graduation projects!

On Tuesday, May 10th, I taught my first card-making class at my local Rec Center, and even though I only had 1 student, Heather, we had a great time! She ended up receiving 1 on 1 instruction and learned a lot! And since she was the only one there she got to play with all of my fun tools!

We made two cards and a tag. The tag has a pocket that is perfect for a gift card or some cash. Heather is going to use one of them for her nephew.

I thought it would have been a more popular class since most people know someone who is graduating from some kind of school or program. But it was my first time trying it out and I learned a lot myself. I can't just rely on social media to get the word out about classes, so next time I will do a lot more advertising and hope that word of mouth will spread and I will get more students.

I used products from multiple companies in the making of these projects:

Stamps are from Lawn Fawn, Concord & 9th, Elle's Studio, and SSS

Dies are from Waffle Flower, Concord & 9th, Lawn Fawn, and My Favorite Things

The papers I used are from Bazzill, American Crafts, Concord & 9th, and Neenah

Inks used are from Concord & 9th, Versafine, Versamark

Other tools and supplies are: Gold embossing powder, a heat gun, black and white twine, tape runner, foam tape, a gold marker, paper trimmer, die cutting machine, Bearly arts liquid glue, the MISTI tool, and an acrylic block

Thanks for visiting today,

happy crafting, and have a great day!
