Challenge # 91 at My Craft Spot

Wow two posts in one day!  I had to hurry and post this in time for the challenge over at My Craft Spot.  You had to make something using embossing or glossy accents.  I made another gift card/money holder only this one is for a Birthday!  I will be making a lot of these because I am planning on selling them at a local fair where I do a booth about every other year.  I will post some of my creations as I am getting my inventory made.  This one ended up fitting the theme for this challenge so I decided to share it and enter to win.  Here it is:

Stamps are from Stampin' Up and ink was Momento Tuxedo Black
I used black embossing powder from Stampendous on the stripes
"Birthday" was colored with Pro markers and then covered with glossy accents.
I used a black marker for the foe stitching.

I kept it really simple and love the look!

Huggable, Squeezable, Baby!

Good morning everyone, today I am sharing with you a gift card holder I made for a friend, who is also a soccer coach. We coach together, two seperate teams but we have combined practices.  She just had her first baby 2 weeks ago, it was a girl!
I really liked how this turned out.  She was grateful, and thougth it was super cute too.

Patterned paper is from the Nana's Nursery DCWV 6x6 pad
Cuttlebug-paisley folder
Fiskars border punch
ribbon is from JoAnn's
The sentiment is an old tag I made with some baby rub-ons.  I found it going through some old things as I was organizing some of my craft space. I thought it was so cute and had to use it for this gift card/money holder.  I hope you like it, let me know what you think!

Sweet Baby (boy)

Well, I have had a busy day getting these cards done for my card swap group which meets tomorrow night.  We didn't really have a theme this month, it was whatever we wanted to make.  I had a hard time deciding what to do so I checked out some challenge blogs to give me a direction to go and this is what I made:

I used K & Company patterned paper (that I bought a year and a half ago)
Stamps are from My Pink Stamper and Stampin Up
Ink is from Momento-Summer Sky
I used a Stampin Up punch (that I just bought and wanted to use it for the first time)
Pebbles Inc. glitter chalk was used for shading
The ribbon is from my stash

The challenges I am entering are:

My Friend

My little Trinity was Student of the week last week and part of that was that she could take a treat in and share with her class.  When I asked her what she wanted to do for her treat she said she wanted me to make cupcakes but I explained that the schools don't let us do things like that anymore and what we did would have to be store bought.  So then she looked at me and said "treat bags".  So once again I made some treat bags.
I made these ones simple and a little smaller.

Patterned paper is from a Colorbok paper pack from Wal-Mart.
circle and scalloped circle were cut from Mini-Monograms cart.
Flower and sentiment stamp both came from My Pink Stamper
Inks used were from SEI, Stampin' Up, and Momento Tuxedo Black.

Basketball Bags

I would like to share with you today the little treat bags I threw together the morning of our last basketball game. My Husband was the coach of our 7 year old's little league basketball team. We thought the kids would like it if I made them all a little bag to celebrate our season.  I would have liked to do a better job on these but since I was in a big hurry and they were for little kids I figured they were good enough.  Here they are:

I used the sports mania cartridge for the basketball
a white gel pen for the dashed lines around the edge
the stamp is from K & Co. in the dollar bin at JoAnns
I used white embossing powder from Stampendous

Thanks for visiting! See you next time!

Hugs & Kisses for my kids!

Good morning, I wanted to get all of my Valentine posts up in February but I didn't quite make it.  So today I am sharing with you the treat bags I made for my kids for Valentines.  We celebrated with a special breakfast also.
I will start with my oldest daughter she is 14 and her favorite color is orange.  I was actually surprised that I liked the end result of her bag.

Cartridge: TBBM
Stamp is from My Pink Stamper
Ink used is from Colorbox
Orange Stickles were used on the heart
Everything else was from my stash, old things that I pulled out and used.

The next one is for my second daughter she is 7 and likes the color red.
 I absolutely love this bag!

Cartridge: TBBM
Paper is from Bo Bunny
Stamp is from Fiskars
I used Black embossing powder from Stampendous for the Sentiment
White gel pen on the black heart and Glossy Accents on the red heart
Ribbon is from my Stash

and last but not least is my little guy.  I tried to make it for a boy but I still used hearts, after all it is for Valentines.  I thought this one turned out pretty cute.

Cartridges: Plantin Schoolbook,  George & BS
The hearts are from an old Marvy Craft Punch
I used a white gel pen for the little starts in between the hearts
and then just some dimensionals to pop up the stars

Thanks for visiting, hope you all have a great weekend!
Thank you for stopping by, taking a peek, and leaving a comment or two!
