MPS 8th Day of Christmas-Color Challenge

Good Morning everyone.
I don't know how the weather is where you are at but here it has rained for 5 days straight now!  We never get this much water, we live in a desert.  But we are all grateful for it, we really needed it.  I hope things are all going well for everyone.
I love the holidays, we are busy here making a bunch of treats for our friends and neighbors and my girls love to help out.   Well, in all the bustling around that I did yesterday I still had time to put together this quick card for the challenge over on My Pink Stamper. It is for the 8th day of Christmas and it was a color challenge, make something using blue, green and brown.  When I think of those colors I think of a little boy. So I made a card that you could use for a birthday or just about any celebration.

I cut the frog from the PDDU cart at 3" on real dial size.  The blue paper is heat embossed using the "On the Spot" stamp from Stampin' Up and some clear embossing powder.  The ribbon is from Mrs. grossman's. The "hoppy for you" stamp was also from Stampin' Up.  I liked the cute little frog, it looks like he is jumping for joy.  Hope you like it.

6th day of Christmas Challenge

Happy Sunday everyone,   I have had a pretty good day and hope you have too!

I just finished a Christmas card for the 6th day of Christmas challenge over on the My Pink Stamper blog.
I used the PDDU cart for the gingerbread man, cut at 3" with the real dial size button.  I rifled through all my other stuff to finish the card with some patterned paper that went perfectly with the gingerbread and the ribbon is just from my stash.  And I finished it off with stickles.  Pretty cute!

I have a pretty big week ahead.  I need to get my house ready for company that will be visiting for Christmas (including 5 year old triplet boys), I am baking some goodies for my visiting teaching ladies, wrapping and sending some gifts to family, and finishing some projects for christmas presents.  Thankfully school is out and I will have my 12 year old daughter to help me out!

Wish me luck and hopefully I will be able to find a little bit of time to post some more during all of my chaos.
See you soon!

Color Challenge from My Pink Stamper

High everyone.
Okay, I had every intention of putting up this post days ago, but with my 12 year old's play at school, my 5 year old's kindergarten Christmas program and my 5 month old, time really gets away from you.

I put this stocking card on My Pink Stamper's color challenge for her 2nd day of Christmas that she is doing over on her blog.  I really liked the colors.  The challenge was to make a project using 2 shades of pink and 2 shades of blue with black.  I ended up doing 2 of them, because the picture didn't show the different shades very good.

I used the Doodlecharms cart for the stocking, and stickles for the glitter.  The snowflake came from the It's Cold Outside cart with stickles on the inside of the snowflake.  Hope you like them. It was a lot of fun using different colors for Christmas.
I have a lot to post,  so now that school is out I will have more time to get some things done.

Just a quick minute

Hey I've got a quick minute to post up some more from the wedding album.
Hope you like them.  You can't tell by the picture but some of the paper is glitter paper, and the colors really do pop against each other, they are really bright.

I used the Stone Script Font cart for the titles.  If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

The Wedding Album

Hi everyone, I know it's been a while.  I have just been so busy and it is not stopping either with this time of year.

Today we had a tryout for our u12 girls soccer team this morning. That lasted 2 hours, we went home got a bite to eat for lunch then drove over to St. George for our daughter's indoor soccer game. We are now home for the night to rest and relax; all except for Ted.  He had to hurry and change and load up the truck for a gig he has to get to tonight.

I am currently working on something for a christmas present and I will post the pics when they are done but I won't post until I have given the gift.  Until then I will try and post some pics of pages from a wedding album I made for someone.  I really liked the end result of the album and I'm pretty sure the bride did too. I just wish I could have finished it and given it to her sooner than I did.  (Sorry it took so long Kaylee.)

The pictures don't show up very good sorry, but the colors are actually really bright.  The wedding colors were Bright Pink, Bright Green, Black, White, and Blush Pink.
I added a little sparkle of silver here and there, and of course glitter. I used some glitter paper.  I used some spamps from My Cute Stamps for the background paper, the swirls and flowers were with the cricut.  I think it was the Home Decor Cart.
I wish I could say that it was all me, but I get a lot of inspiration from other people, out of catalogs, on the net, so many places.  I can't remember where the inspiration came for all of the pages in the album but if you see one and recognize that it is yours or someone you know then thank you for your talent.  I just get the layout ideas and put my own spin on them with different colors and embellishments.
I hope you all like these pages. I will try to post some up each day to show you the whole album.

Babee shower gift

I went to a really fun baby shower on Saturday for one of my Young Women girls I used to teach.  To think that all those girls are old enough to be getting married and having children makes me feel old.  Time really flies.  She had a bee theme to her shower.  I made her a cute card and matching gift bag.  It was a lot of fun to do and I hope you like it.

The bees are actually from the invitation I recieved.  I just cut them out and used them on the project.  I used plantain schoolbook cart for the letters,  and I used an ek success border punch for the black trim.  I inked the edges with a black stampin up ink pad.

Pampered Chef Thank You card

Hello
I am just finishing up a Pampered Chef Party. I wanted to give something to my consultant for doing the party. I know how much work goes into a party having sold Pampered Chef in the past, so I wanted to do something for her.  It wasn't that much, but she loved it anyway!

I put some Hershey Kisses in a little treat bag to go with the card.  Most of the paper is from my scraps.  The patterened paper is from Breezy Design.  The thank you is just written with a Hot Cocoa rolling ball writer.  I inked the edges with ColorBox chalk inkpad in Chestnut Roan.  The Chef's Hat was taken from the Pampered Chef logo. I popped up the hat to give dimension.  It was a lot of fun to do and very simple.
enjoy!

The Finished Project

Hey,
I finally finished putting the pages in the frames and got them up on my wall.

I like doing home decor scrapper style.  I change them out every year when we get our pictures done. Hope you like it.  I wanted to put this up today real quick before I go up to Salt Lake.  I will be back on Thursday night.  I should have another post up on Friday.
see you then
Trish

Portrait Layout #4

Here is the last page in the series.  It is of my oldest. She just turned 12, and thinks she knows everything.
But I love her anyway.  She has a fun and quirky personality.

I just used paper from my stash.  The ribbon is just what I already have.  The numbers were cut with the Alphalicious cartridge.  I used a stencil for the star and embossed with clear powder.  I inked the edges with a black stamp pad from Stampin Up.
The colors were pulled from her shirt and she ended up picking out the final result of what I used.  They are really bright and colorful and show her personality.

Enjoy!

Layout #3

Hello
Here is the 3rd page layout I did with my 8x10s.  It is of my Middle Child.
She is a lot of fun and full of energy!  She helped me make this page by picking out the paper, and she picked out the butterfly.
The Pink patterned paper is from DCWV Butterflies and Blossoms paper pack,  The Butterfly was cut from the Home Decor cart, and the name is cut from Alphalicious.  I used stickles on the name, just to give it a little more bling!
The rest of the paper and the ribbon is from my stash.

I hope you all like it. feel free to leave a comment.

Tanner

Hey girls,
I finally am able to put up the next page in the series I was talking about.
It is of my adorable baby boy. Isn't he just so cute? I love him to death.

I used Alphalicious for the name, and George for the star. The blue paper is from my stash, the green paper is from the Blossoms and Butterflies DCWV paper stack, the ribbon is just from my stash and the ink around the edges is from Stampin Up (not quite navy).

I hope you like page, I thought it turned out really good.

Trisha

Portrait Page

Hey,
Sorry it took so long. But this is a page I did with our latest family photo taken just this September.

I always get our pictures done every year.  With the 8x10's I do a 12x12 layout and then frame them and put them on my wall.
I will post each one as I get them done and then I will do a post of the finished results.

Hope you like them and maybe get some inspiration for your 8x10's.

All the paper is just what I have in my stash.
The J was from the Plantain Schoolbook cart.
Swirl pattern is a roller stamp from stampin up and I used clear embossing powder on it.

It's a busy, busy world

Isn't life crazy? I know it is at my house.  I have been running around like mad for a week now. I apologize for not posting in a while.  Besides taking care of a 3 month old, there is soccer practices, and basketball. I have a hard time finding the time to scrap.

I hope to have a picture post up later tonight or tomorrow.

c-ya then.

Halloween Card

What a day.  We are on fall break from school here, so my two girls were home all day and will be on Monday also.  After breakfast and getting dressed we cleaned up a little bit around the house, went to the store, and then got out the "crafts".  My girls just loved coloring some fun Halloween pictures I had and building there own monsters.

While they did that I made my Halloween card.  I never thought Frankenstein could be so cute.  I use the PDDU cart of course. I did the words with black glitter to give it a little bit more.

I hope you all like it.  I am entering it over on My Pink Stampers blog, for her "make a Halloween or Fall project" challenge.  Wish me luck!

MPS challenge "Something Cute"

Hey guys,
I wanted to post this birthday card I made for my friend Holly's daughter Ally.  She is having a birthday party on Saturday.

I entered it in the challenge over on My Pink Stamper. Her challenge was to make something cute.  I thought this card was pretty cute.
I made the card using alphalicious cart and the Mickey and Friends cart.

I am still figuring everything out with this blog. I am still new to the whole blogging thing.  So be patient with me and I will try to post as often as I can.

Hope you all enjoy.

Halloween Treat Bags

I made these cute little treat bags using the
Plantain schoolbook cart and PDDU cart. I thought they turned out pretty cute!
