Sorry I have been MIA. My life just got really busy. I have some projects to share with you, I just haven't had time to post them. Most of my projects have been for birthdays. I did do a little bit for easter too. I will post them when I can grab a minute or two. Today I am going to share with you a birthday card I made for my nephew.
I kept it pretty simple, after all it is for a boy. He love superheroes, so I just had to make this little guy using the PDDU cart. I did a little bit of shading with some chalk, and ink. The sentiment is just hand written with a white gel pen. I hope he likes it!
I have a lot more to share with you so come back and take a look.
See you soon!

MAG Challenge #21
Good Morning everyone,
I wanted to quickly post this card that I made last night for the M.A.G. Challenge by the Page blog. The challenge was to use only the images on page 110 of the Doodlecharms cartridge. (that is the party hat) I love how this card turned out. The colors really pop against each other and my husband even looked at it and said it was cool.
All the paper is just simple cardstock from the store.
I wish I could remember the company I got the ribbon from, I know I bought it at the Scrapbook Expo a few years ago and I really like it, you can't really tell but the ribbon has a little bit of sparkle to it.
I used turqoise glitter on the hat to bring that out a little bit more.
I used a Stampin' Up stamp and heat embossed it with black embossing powder. I also used Stampin' Up ink around the edges for a little bit of shading.
The cuttlebug folder is spots and dots.
Hope you all like it, comments are welcome.

MPS Birthday Challenge
Hi guys, this is just a quick post to show you this adorable birthday gift bag I made for a girl that I coach in soccer. I also am going to enter it in the My Pink Stamper birthday challenge from her blog hop on Friday.
I made this with her favorite colors in mind. The cartridges I used were: Plantain Schoolbook, Gypsy wanderings, and Doodlecharms. The white paper is from Doodlebug and the rest is from my scraps. The ribbon is from my stash and I just used a white gel pen for the outline.
It is filled with some fun treats to celebrate. I will have a lot more of these in the near future. We have a lot of girls on our team. And quite a few birthdays coming up.

Basketball Card
Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a wonderful day!
Now my brother's birthday is coming up this month. He is really into basketball so I did a card with that in mind. It is the easiest, simplest card I have ever made.

Now I used the Sports Mania cart, I inked the edges with Stampin' Up, and used the Swiss Dots folder with my Cuttlebug for the ball. All I had to do was cut it out and glue it on, easy peesy. I don't normally do cards this easy, but it is for my brother. Hope you like it, I actually like how it turned out.
Now, I have to share this with you. I live in Southern Utah, right next to the Arizona and Nevada borders. The weather here is warm and hot. Our winter are usually in the 40's and can get down into the 30's sometimes. Our summers reach into the high 100's. So I just about died when I woke up to SNOW outside. In APRIL!! Here are some pics to show you. I thinks around lunch it was about 1 inch of snow.
This is just crazy weather! Thanks for stopping by, feel free to leave me a comment.

Courtney's Birthday card
Hi scrappin' pals,
Here is another Birthday card I made for a different niece. This one is turning 14. I can't believe it! Time really flies. She is really into dance and music. So this is what I came up with for her. I hope she likes it.
Since I don't have any dance carts that would really fit her style I used Gypsy Wanderings cart for the music note. I embossed the music scale on the green paper with clear embossing powder. The scale is a rolling stamp from Stampin' Up, and I used Stampin' Up ink for the distressing. I hand wrote the sentiment. The ribbon is from Mrs. Grossmans. The paper is from everywhere.
Let me know what you think.

Minnie Mouse Birthday card
Hello scrappin' buddies,
Over the weekend I had a chance to make some birthday cards for family. I made this one for my niece who just turned 2 in March. I know I'm late, but better late than never! She loves Disney and all the Characters, so I made her a Minnie Mouse Birthday card. I really like how this turned out. The colors work really well together, they are based off of the patterened paper that I used for Minnie's dress.

Baby Card #3
Here is another baby card, but this time I did it for a girl.
The paper is light pink and I inked the edges in a darker pink (I don't remember with what), the ribbon is just from my stash, and the baby and pin are old stickers that I found and this is what I came up with to use them.
In the end, I actually like how this card turned out. It came together really fast for me, I usually take forever on a card, but this one was really easy and fast. And I usually never use stickers!!
Thanks for stopping by
