Jentry's Bapstim Card

I just had a nephew get baptized recently now it is my niece Jentry's turn.  Her big day is coming up this Saturday.  I made her baptism card to look like her of course.  I hope she likes it.  I included in the package that I sent to her a cute flower hair clip that is white with some bling in the center.  Her card is very basic but elegant.

Sorry about the lighting I just couldn't get it right to show the whiteness of the card.  For some reason the lighting turned out really dim.

With school nearing its end for this year I have recieved a couple of Graduation announcements from some of the girls I coach in church sports.  I can't believe they are this old already I have been coaching these girls for about 4-5 years now.  I wanted to share with you the cards I made for each of these girls.

The card I made for Teisha is very traditional, and used our school colors.

Teacher Appreciation!

Hello all you crafters,
Today I am going to share with you what I made for my daughter's 1st Grade Teacher.  Besides making a personal gift for her I was in charge of decorating her door for the week.  I have to say I really like how my projects turned out.

First project is a wooden pencil painted and decorated for the teacher's desk.  As you can see I glittered the eraser, I wound wire around the metal part for the pencil and I used vinyl for the name.

For the door I made my very first banner!  I love it!

I cut the letters from the Boys will be Boys cartridge.
I put a little bit of bling on each of the letters with stickles.

I put it up so that she would walk under the banner, instead of putting it flush on the paper.
I think she is going to keep it up for a long time.

Cartridges:  George & BS, Locker Talk, Doodlecharms, Boys will be Boys
I used a lot of stickles, some glossy accents, & pop dots.
I used some rainbow ribbon to tie it together.
And of course I used my Gypsy for the whole project!

Sorry for so many pictures, I was just really proud of this project and wanted to show it off!
Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you were inspired.

Chase's Bapstism Card

How is everyone today?  In this post I will be sharing a card I made for my nephew Chase who just recently was baptized.  I am so proud of him and his decision.  He is such a special young boy. My sister really liked it and told me how Chase thought it was pretty cool too.

I was with my sister when she bought a new little suit outfit for Chase.  I made my card based off of his suit.
Of course the boy on the card is Chase in his new suit.  I made the pattern on the yellow paper myself using some stamps.  It was based off of the tie.

MPS stamp (congratulations) "Everyday Occasions"
Stamps for the patterned paper are Stampin Up
I used Colorbox & Stampin Up inks

Thanks for taking the time to stop and check out my work!

Hello my crafty friends!

Good day to all of my crafty friends.  I apologize for being gone so long.  My life got flipped upside down on April 13.  My Dear Mother died and I have had a hard time adjusting.  I feel that I am finally able to get back into the swing of things.

I actually had some easter projects that I was going to share with you before I got the news of my Mother.
I will go ahead and share them with you even though it was a long time ago.  I have some other things to share during the week as well.  I have also just finished more calenders, that is what was keeping me very busy.

I feel bad I missed out on so much and I still need to catch up on all the fun things that are happening in blog world.  I hate missing the blog hops and challenges but oh well, I am back and ready to have fun.

Here are some goodie bags I made for my daughter's 1st grade class and some I made for visiting teaching:

For these goodie bags I used the Doodlecharms cart.
Paper from my scraps
I used the cuttlebug to emboss the eggs
some ink for shading
I hand wrote "Hoppy Easter" since I don't have a stamp.

I made four of these baskets.
They were cut using the TBBM cart.
The embellisments on the basket are a stamp set from "My Cute Stamps"
I used some ink for shading
Stickles for that extra touch

Thanks for taking a look at my projects,  I hope you like them.
I have a cute card to share with you tomorrow!  C-you then.
Thank you for stopping by, taking a peek, and leaving a comment or two!
