My Friend

My little Trinity was Student of the week last week and part of that was that she could take a treat in and share with her class.  When I asked her what she wanted to do for her treat she said she wanted me to make cupcakes but I explained that the schools don't let us do things like that anymore and what we did would have to be store bought.  So then she looked at me and said "treat bags".  So once again I made some treat bags. 
I made these ones simple and a little smaller.

Patterned paper is from a Colorbok paper pack from Wal-Mart.

Thank You Goodie bags

My Birthday has come and gone but I still wanted to show you what I made for all of my party guests.  We had a lot of fun that night and to show my thanks to all the ladies that came out to my house (and they even brought gifts!) I made each of them a little bag with some crafty goodies in it along with a little bit of chocolate!

I like how they turned out and I stayed with my pink,black,silver and white color scheme.  They all loved their bags when I delivered them so I guess I did a good job.

My Birthday banner

Good morning all, I hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far.  I wanted to show you the Banner I made for my Birthday party.  I really love how it turned out, being only the second one I have done.  The color sceme for my party was pink, black, white, and silver.  

All the ladies had a good time. One of the ladies made the comment that none of them work on any of their scrapbooks or projects unless it is when I have a get together for them to work on their stuff.  So we are planning to get together again soon, I think I am going to plan a "crop til you drop" event about every three months or so, so that we can all have some extra time set a side to work on things without other distractions.

My wonderful Husband took the kids out so us ladies wouldn't have the kid distraction.  When they came back home they brought an Ice Cream Cake from Dairy Queen with them for me, how sweet! I love my family!  Well, on to the pictures:

Celebrate You!

Good morning everyone, I am sharing yet another Birthday Cake box today.  It seems all I do is Birthday themed projects.  Well, Halloween is coming (my favorite holiday) and I have many projects that I want to do for that, I just hope I can finish all of them. 

Well, on to my project for today, this one was made for Maddie. She is a very fun and energetic girl.  Orange is her new favorite color.  I decided to go with really bright and fun colors for this one. Hope you like it!

Here Comes the Bride

Good day to you all.  Here is a quick post between all my running around today. 

This is a card I made for a girl I used to teach in Young Womens a while ago.  She is getting married!  She is a very fun girl with lots of personality.  I had fun making her card and I hope she likes it too.

I used some pencils and chalk for coloring the bride

I made the patterned paper using the stamp set

the top of the card I used my Cuttlebug on some vellum and then scraped some ink over it.

I used a tiny dab of stickles on the flowers

Heartfelt Thanks

How is everyone this morning?  I wanted to do a quick post before we have to head out for swim lessons. 
This is a card I made for my card swap group for the month of April.  I know it's June.  We actually haven't swapped cards in a couple of months because of different things happening with all of us.  But I am caught up now, so for our June swap I will have the cards for April, May and June. 
The theme for April was just to use spring colors.  Well, I think of pastels during that time of year.  I ended up making it a thank you card, and I really like how it turned out.  So here it is:

I stamped the images on DCWV pastel stack

Colorbox ink was used for stamping and edging

I shaded a little bit on my images with Pearlescent chalk from Pebbles Inc. (it doesn't really show in the picture but they really shimmer in the light.)

My Visiting Teaching Valentine

I had these little gifts made in early February and just barely delivered them.  I like how they turned out and the ladies did too!  I totally scrap-lifted the card from Stacey's Creative Corner.  I really liked the clean look and simplicity of this card.  The only thing I did different was reduce the size of the card to a 3x3, I used a different embossing folder and a different stamp on my heart.  Overall I really copied her card, I just loved it.  She has some really cute card designs over on her blog, you should check them out. 

Here is my project using her design, I hope you like it.

I used a dark brown and light brown for my paper because I didn't have enough of one color for all four that I made.

February Card Swap

Here is the card I made this month for my card swap group.  I actually started about 3 different cards and was not happy at how they were turning out, I just didn't like the way they looked.  I ended up making this really simple card the day of my card swap.

Good morning to you all.  I attended a baby shower just recently and had to show you the card I made to go with my gift.  The shower was for one of my Young Women I taught about 7 years ago. This is her first baby and she is having a girl.  I bought a cute little outfit and some matching blankets.  I made the card to match the set.  I thought it turned out pretty cute! 

If you can't tell by the pictures, the monkey is the same one that is on the clothes and blanket.  (I traced the monkey off of a onsie, colored it, and cut it out)

MPS- February Blog Hop Challenge

For the February Pinkalicious Blog Hop Challenge over at My Pink Stamper we had to make something using the Color Red, a circle, pink ribbon and 2 My Pink Stamper Stamps.  It was starting out pretty hard, but once I got into my zone it went relatively easy. 

What I ended up making was a Heart Shaped Goodie Bag that my 6 year old wanted me to make for her teacher for Valentines.  So here it is:
