Happy Birthday to Emily and Gracie

My daughter helped me make these Birthday Goodie bags for her twin friends. They invited her to their party last Saturday.  I whipped these up that morning with some help from my daughter. She told me to make them the same but different because that's the way the twins are.  This is what we came up with, and we filled them with some treats, chapstick, and hair ties.

A couple of cute Wedding cards!

I had kind-of a crazy weekend how was yours? I just love weddings don't you, today I am sharing with you a gift card holder and a card that I made for some cute little brides earlier this summer.  I don't know about you guys but when I make someone a card for a wedding I personalize it by using their wedding colors and their personalities.  I hope you like them!

This is the gift card holder that I absolutely love and so did the bride and groom.  Their wedding colors were really fun and the reception was beautiful. I have to thank Kristina Werner for sharing her awesome creativity with all of us she inspires me all the time.  I learned how to make these gift card holders from her videos and the design of this particular one is from a card that she made. 

 The hearts were made from a Stampin up set and an Inkadinkado set. I cut some hearts by hand and others were from a punch. The "congratulations" stamp is from My Cute Stamps.  The red ink is Stampin' Up & the blue ink is from SEI.  I used the threading water border punch from Fiskars. The ribbon is from my stash and I used silver stickles for the bling. You can't see it in the pictures but I also used glossy accents on the blue hearts.

This card was created for the daughter of a friend of mine, and I was so happy she really liked it.  She is a cute girl and I have gotten to know her a little bit more recently.  I created this card and matching envelope from the Wild card cartridge. I used stamps from My Cute Stamps for the bride and the flowers. I used momento rich cocoa for the ink.  I cut the flowers and banner by hand and added some bling I have on hand from JoAnn's.

Teacher Appreciation 2013

Hello everyone, it's been a while because I spent all my time making an inventory for a craft booth I had at our local city festival.  I wanted to show you some of my older projects that I forgot to post in the spring.  Today it's all about Teacher appreciation. 

My daughter's second grade teacher loves Mickey and Minnie Mouse, so this is what I came up with to decorate her door.  She loved it! I cut some Mickey ears using the Mickey and friends cart. and put the names of each kid in her class on them. The red ones are the girls and the boys are the black ears.

Now this thank you gift bag was made for my 14 yr. old daughter's art teacher.  I used the Once upon a Princess cart for the bag. Patterned paper is from a Colorbok paper pad.  The stamps and punch are from Stampin' Up. The ink used was from SEI.

This bag was made for Tehya's Chinese teacher.  Cartridge is TBBM. paper is from SEI. I used prima flowers and the brads and ribbon are from my stash.  The thank you stamp is from My Cute Stamps and the ink is Colorbox.

I love making things for other people and seeing their faces light up at receiving the gift.

I have many more projects to show you now that I have more time.  I look forward to catching you guys up on all my creations and I can't wait to check out what you all have been up to.

Birthday Goodie Bags #7, #8, and #9

Today I am going to share even more Birthday Goodie Bags.  I make these every year for our soccer team.  We had about 15 girls on our team this last season. I really like how many of them turned out, I hope you do too!

I used the TBBM cartridge for the purse

Paper is from Doodlebug, the balloon is a die cut that I had in my stash. The stamp is from Stampin' Up embossed with some blue embossing powder.  I used a blue marker to sguiggle the balloon string. I used Colorbox blue ink for the shading around the edges.  The blue ribbon is from my stash also.

This one was really pretty simple.  Paper is from Doodlebug, ribbon from my stash, stamp and ink from Stampin' up, flower punched with an old EK Success punch. I put a blue brad in the flower to finish it off. TBBM cartridge used to make the purse.

This bag was made using a stamp and espresso embossing powder from Stampin' Up.  A brown marker for the dots, ribbon from my stash, and paper from an SEI-Happy Day paper pad. Oh, and cut using the TBBM cartridge.

My Friend

My little Trinity was Student of the week last week and part of that was that she could take a treat in and share with her class.  When I asked her what she wanted to do for her treat she said she wanted me to make cupcakes but I explained that the schools don't let us do things like that anymore and what we did would have to be store bought.  So then she looked at me and said "treat bags".  So once again I made some treat bags. 
I made these ones simple and a little smaller.

Patterned paper is from a Colorbok paper pack from Wal-Mart.

Puppy Love

I am going to share with you today the goodie bags I made for my 2nd grader's class for valentines.  She picked out the stamp and told me what she wanted to cut out with my cricut.  So here is what we came up with.  My daughter picked out a boy dog and a girl dog for her classmates.

More Punny-licious Birhday cards!

I realized I need to catch up on showing you guys cards that I have made for my card swap.  The one I will show you today is when we had to make a birthday card.  I wanted to use the More Punny-licious stamp set from My Pink Stamper, I couldn't decide between using "Hippo Birthday" or "Snappy Birthday" so I ended up doing both.  I really like how each of them turned out too.  I used the same basic layout for each card but changed the colors and paper.

For the "Hippo Birthday" card I used Create a Critter for my hippo, ribbon and ink from Stampin Up, Stickles, Patterned paper from Imaginisce, my Cuttelbug-swiss dots folder, and the stamp from MPS-More Punnylicious stamp set. 

For my "Snappy Birthday" card I used the turtle from Create a Critter cartridge, paper from SEI, ribbon from my stash, Cuttlebug-swiss dots folder, ink from Stampin Up, stamp from MPS-More Punnylicious stamp set; I used some clear embossing powder from Stampendous to bring out the watermark effect a little more.

I hope you all like what you see and are inspired to create something for someone else.

My Family Scrapbook Layouts

I just remembered that I haven't shown you guys the scrapbook pages I made for my parents and my in-laws for  their albums.  This is what I give them for Christmas.  I like doing this instead of buying something because they already have so much, what I am giving them is priceless, and it is a good way for them to know how their grandchildren are growing up.

Sorry about the pictures, I didn't have a good background, I took them at the last minute and had to stand above them.  With the lighting it was hard to get a good picture.

This first one is my oldest. She picked out what she wanted on her page and then just had me put it together.  She really likes the Simply Charmed cartridge, and the patterened paper is from SEI. I also used Bazzill cardstock, and other misc. cardstock.  Stickles and some Stampin Up ink for inking the edges. 

Sugar and Spice is my 6 year old.  She is a little bit of both.  She wanted to use the Once Upon a Princess Cartridge.  She picked out her pictures and wanted the two little paper dolls on the page.  She picked out her paper from SEI.  We had to have some stickles on there and some shading with Stampin Up ink.

My little man is growing up so fast.  I had a lot of fun making his page.  I used the B is for Boy cartridge on his layout.  I love the colors and the overall look of it.

I had fun making my husband's layout.  He picked out his pictures and patterned paper (DCWV).  I used the Boys Will Be Boys, and George cartridges.  I had to use the HERO title for him, because he is a hero to our children.  They look up to him a lot.   

Last of all is mine.  I never have that many pictures because I am always the one taking them.  I found some to use and made mine with my favorite color scheme.  The flowers are from Plantin Schoolbook, and George.  My title is from the Gypsy Wanderings cart.  I had to use Stickles!  I also used my Cuttlebug, and some brads.

Happy Birthday to Me!!

It's my Birthday today!  My life is sooo crazy with an 18 month old little boy.  He is everywhere and into everything!  I want to post and blog everyday but he just won't let me.  I am taking a moment to post this while he is at the store with Dad. 

I made this card for my last card swap group that was at the beginning of the month.  Our theme was Birthday.  I thought it appropriate knowing that I would be celebrating mine.  I had a lot of fun making this card, I really like how it turned out and so did my group.  I hope you like it too!
