"Give Thanks"- banner

Good day everyone, today I would like to share with you a banner I made for this month of giving thanks for all that we have.  I hope you like it, I do.  I actually sold this banner at Peach Days to a good loyal customer and friend.

Cartridges used: Pretty Pennants, Accent Essentials, B is for Boy, and Plantin Schoolbook
I stamped a watermark background with the My Cute Stamps Celebrate Today stamp set and my Versamark ink pad. I designed it on my Gypsy so I could get the letters to fit just right. I inked up my edges with Chestnut Roan from Colorbox. I don't remember what paper I used. I use paper from many different companies and I don't have the storage solutions that would make it possible for me to separate the companies that I use. Some brown, cream and green ribbon tied it all together.

Thank you for taking the time to visit me today!

Birthday Girl Banner!

Good Monday everyone. Today I wanted to share with you a "Happy Birthday" banner I made to sell at my booth earlier this year.  I made it for a girl, but kept it very general. I didn't want to do any themes because you never know what people are looking for.  I really like how it turned out.  In person you can really see all the different colors and patterns better and the sparkle from the glitter looks better too!

I used the Pretty Pennants cartridge for the banner shape.
The patterned paper is from an old Imaginisce glitter paper pad, so it all coordinates together.  I used a brown cardstock for my solid base

I used an EK success scalloped circle punch for the scalloped circles, then I used a 1.5" circle punch from Creative Memories for the inside circle.  The cupcakes are from a Stampin' Up stamp set, stamped on different colors of paper and then pieced together.  I added stickles to the cupcakes for some sparkle.

The letters were cut out of an old sizzix sidekick alphabet and layered on brown cardstock, and then covered with pink stickles.  I used some eyelets to strengthen the corners and then tied it together with some bakers twine.

Thanks for visiting my blog today, I hope you liked my project and come back to see more!
let me know what you think!

My Birthday banner

Good morning all, I hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far.  I wanted to show you the Banner I made for my Birthday party.  I really love how it turned out, being only the second one I have done.  The color sceme for my party was pink, black, white, and silver.

All the ladies had a good time. One of the ladies made the comment that none of them work on any of their scrapbooks or projects unless it is when I have a get together for them to work on their stuff.  So we are planning to get together again soon, I think I am going to plan a "crop til you drop" event about every three months or so, so that we can all have some extra time set a side to work on things without other distractions.

My wonderful Husband took the kids out so us ladies wouldn't have the kid distraction.  When they came back home they brought an Ice Cream Cake from Dairy Queen with them for me, how sweet! I love my family!  Well, on to the pictures:

Cartridges: Pretty Pennants, Doodlecharms, Plantin Schoolbook, Mini-Monograms
Stampin' Up for roller stamp
Versamark and Colorbox inks
Black embossing powder from Stampendous
Paper is Bazzill
I used the Cuttlebug on the cupcakes and letters
Silver Stickles
Pink and Black Glitter Toulle

Thank you for stopping by, taking a peek, and leaving a comment or two!
