Bloom where you are planted

Hello my friends, today I am sharing a grouping of cards that I made for the SSS Monday Challenge-Pastels and I am also going to use these cards for my card swap group for the month of April.

Now I started out pretty good with the pastels and then it ended up going a little brighter for some of the colors, but I still feel that it looks like spring.  I had fun playing with a stencil and inks; and layering up some Cricut cuts to give more dimension and of course I had to add some sequins for that extra touch!

Relief Society Invitations

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day.
Well, my Relief Society Presidency in my ward came to me and asked if I could make the invitations for the big dinner that is coming up. I said sure, what is the theme?  When they told me the theme was "Women of Charity" I immediately got this image in my mind.
They told me they wanted a key included somehow because it will tie into the program they are preparing. In the end I made 100 of these beautiful invitations.

Recollections white cardstock, vellum & Gold Glitter paper
Cuttlebug
We R Memory Keepers- chevron embossing folder
Brilliance Galaxy Gold ink pad

B is for...(SSS Monday Challenge)

Today I am sharing a card I made for the Monday Challenge over at Simon Says Stamp. The challenge was to make something inspired by the letter B. I chose to make a card with a Beautiful, Blue, Butterfly!  I also used this card for my card swap that I had last night.

I stamped the butterfly in a light blue ink and used a Wink of Stella fine glitter dust pen to trace the butterfly. I wanted it to be a brighter blue and I love the glitter that come through in the pen. I used these pens for the sentiment also. I ended up handwriting my sentiment because I don't have a stamp in all of my stamps that says Beautiful.

Supplies:
Bazzill Marshmallow &  Classic Blue cardstock
Once upon a Princess Cartridge-for the tag
Winged Things stamp set from Stampin' Up
Summer Sky Memento ink
Zig Wink of Stella fine glitter dust pens
Colorbox ink in Antique Pewter
