Good day to everyone!  Here is the card I made for my May card swap.  The theme was masculine to get ready for father's day.  I didn't even use my cricut for this one. 

The stamp set is from Stampin Up, I used the Cuttlebug on my white paper, the striped paper is from Breezy Design, ink I used is from Stampin Up and Colorbox, the brads are just from my stash.

Heartfelt Thanks

How is everyone this morning?  I wanted to do a quick post before we have to head out for swim lessons. 
This is a card I made for my card swap group for the month of April.  I know it's June.  We actually haven't swapped cards in a couple of months because of different things happening with all of us.  But I am caught up now, so for our June swap I will have the cards for April, May and June. 
The theme for April was just to use spring colors.  Well, I think of pastels during that time of year.  I ended up making it a thank you card, and I really like how it turned out.  So here it is:

I made my card on my gypsy with the Mini-Monograms cart.

The striped paper is from Breezy Design

Stamp set is from My Cute Stamps

"Heartfelt Thanks" stamp is MPS stamps-Simply Sweet Occasions

I stamped the images on DCWV pastel stack

Colorbox ink was used for stamping and edging

I shaded a little bit on my images with Pearlescent chalk from Pebbles Inc. (it doesn't really show in the picture but they really shimmer in the light.)

Birthday Cake for Kayla

I told you I would have more cakes to share with you.  Here is one I made for a new girl on our team.  There is a total of 15 girls on our soccer team, I know that is a lot of cakes to make, but their birthdays are spread  throughout the year. 

Onto the cake, this one is for Kayla.  I think she was pleasantly surprised to recieve this, I think she liked it!

Birthday Fun-Birthday Cake

Here is a fun project that I made the other day.  I make something for all the girls on my soccer team.  Last year I made simple bags for them.  This year I wanted to do something different for them.  I decided to make the box from TBBM that looks like a slice of cake or pie.  I will decorate each one a little different for each girl based on their favorite color and their personality.  Well, I got the first one done the other day so here it is.

I hope you all like it and are inspired to create something too!

Here is another layout I did with my son's adorable pictures.  In this one he is such a cute little man.  I realized after I had completed the layout that I should have put "Little Man" for the title, oh well, I think it is still cute.

MPS Yummy Challenge

Happy Sunday everyone,
I don't normally post on Sundays but, I actually had time to do something. 
Over on My Pink Stamper she had a challenge to make something yummy, it was for pink imagine wednesday.  Well, I don't have an imagine so this is what I came up with on my regular cricut. 
 

The picture doesn't show very well, but the colors are very bright and energetic. I really liked this card, I thought it was just fun!

The card is actually a lime green color, and the pinks and torquoise are a lot brighter.

The patterened paper is discontinued from Breezy Design, the rest of the paper I just got at the store, I used a punch from Fiskars for the scallop border, the lollipop is from the Mickey and Friends cart.  I used stickles for the sparkle on the inside of the lollipop, and the "Sweet Stuff" stamp is from Stampin' Up.

2010 Year in Review Album

Hey guys,  I know it's been a little while, the holidays are so crazy.  I thought that with school being out and not having anywhere to go I would get a lot done.  Well, having the kids home actually I didn't get anything done.   I do love my kids, don't get me wrong, but- My house is a disaster!  School starts tomorrow, and I can finally get back into routine.  I think they are ready to go back too.  They want to see there friends, and talk about christmas gifts. 

Speaking of gifts, this is what I made for my Parents and my inlaws.  It is an album of what each of us in our family did throughout the year 2010.  Each person has a page dedicated to them.  It will be added to each year. 

This was the front title page of the album. After that it goes in order of the Family.

For some reason this picture came out facing the wrong way.  It ended up being one of my favorites too.

It was hard trying to find pictures of myself for this, I am always the one taking the pictures.

I loved seeing their faces when they opened it up. 

I know they really liked it. (my parents)

My mother-in-law was tickled with it.

Trinity had to show her all the pages and what her favorite was.

I hope you all like them, they were actually the simplest pages I have done.

Pampered Chef Thank You card

Hello

I am just finishing up a Pampered Chef Party. I wanted to give something to my consultant for doing the party. I know how much work goes into a party having sold Pampered Chef in the past, so I wanted to do something for her.  It wasn't that much, but she loved it anyway!

I put some Hershey Kisses in a little treat bag to go with the card.  Most of the paper is from my scraps.  The patterened paper is from Breezy Design.  The thank you is just written with a Hot Cocoa rolling ball writer.  I inked the edges with ColorBox chalk inkpad in Chestnut Roan.  The Chef's Hat was taken from the Pampered Chef logo. I popped up the hat to give dimension.  It was a lot of fun to do and very simple.
