Day #7- MPS 12 days of Christmas

I know I skipped #6 because I just couldn't do it.  But number seven I was actually able to do the day of the challenge.  I just didn't post it till now.  Challenge #7: Make a gift box or bag.

I made a gift box for my daughter's First Grade Teacher.  She really liked it and I like how it turned out.  Enjoy!

Day 5-MPS 12 Days of Christmas

Challenge #5-Make a gift card or money holder.  This one wasn't too bad I made it pretty fast for me.  I made it simple and sweet since I am running out of time to finish all of the challenges.  Hope you like it.

Cartridges: Doodlecharms and Gypsy Wanderings
Stampin up ink and stamp

very simple.  Thanks for stopping by, Merry Christmas!
Comments are welcome!

Day 4-MPS 12 days of Christmas

Challenge #4 was to make a treat or goodie bag with a pink/green color scheme!  I had fun with this one, and am pleased at how it turned out.

If all goes well, you should be seeing a lot of posts from me today.  Now that kids are out of school for the holiday break I have a built in babysitter at home to help me and I don't have to be running kids everywhere!  I am hoping to get a lot done today!

Here is my project, I hope you like it as much as I do!  I am planning on giving it to a good friend of mine.

Cartridges: Plantin schoolbook, Simply Charmed, Mini-Monograms
I used Coordinations paper for the bag, and the rest is from my scraps
Colorbox ink for the shading
Sentiment is from Stampin' Up

Day 2 of MPS 12 days of Christmas

I just don't have enough time in a day to do everything!  I am playing catch up today for the 12 days of Christmas with My Pink Stamper.  I really enjoy doing this, but this year has been a lot harder with everything else I am juggling.

Well, day 2 was a random act of kindness.  I made a bag and filled it with some homemade goodies to give to someone when I go shopping!  I am hoping to spread a little Christmas cheer at the store!

Birthday Goodie Bag

Hello everyone,   I thought I would share with you today a little goodie bag I made for one of our soccer players.  The bag is actually done by hand, the only thing I used my cricut for was the scallop circle and the pink circle.  Enjoy!

The adhesive wasn't sticking with the black paper I didn't notice it until it was too late.  Just pretend that the black paper is flush against the pink paper.

All the paper is from my stash
Cuttlebug Birthday folder
I don't remember the cartridge used
white gel pen
Stampin Up Stamps and ink
Heat embossed with Stampendous! Marcasite embossing powder.

Accordian Album

Good day everyone!
I just wanted to share with you a fun project I made.  It's a pocket size accordian album.  Perfect for teens and grandma's.  This one is made for a teenage girl to put fun pics of her and her friends.  I think it would be a fun gift for BFF's to give to each other too!.  It is double sided, so you end up with 14 pages or 7 2page layouts.
I had fun making it and I hope you enjoy!

Pretty much everything I used for this was from a company that no longer exists.  But I wanted to share it with you anyway, maybe it could give you some ideas for something you are working on.

Doctor Who? card

I have to say I love this card I made for my nephew.  It is hard making cards for boys/men especially teenagers.  When I was trying to figure out what to do for Connor, I remembered that he is really into the TV show Doctor Who?  We watch it too so that's what made this card even funner to make.  I did it all by myself.  I think it turned out pretty good, and I hope he likes it.

All I used for this was paper out of my stash, a ruler, pencil, navy marker and white gel pen.  Ink from Stampin Up for the distressing and a square punch. Oh, and a pair of scissors.

Thanks for stopping by!

Inking it up Crazy--Home Decor

Over at Inking it up Crazy Kassidy has a linking up party going on.  You just need to make something that is home decor.  She would like it to be out of vinyl if possible.  I don't have any, so I thought I would share my Birthday Calender creation!

I have just recently made a ton of these for a booth.  Check out my blog post BIRTHDAY CALENDERS to see all of the different styles I have made this in.  Enjoy! (I am showing you mine, so you can see the birthdays written in)

Whew, I just got through the Pinkalicious Blog Hop and it's late but I wanted to share my project with you.

Drama Queen Birthday Card

Hey fellow crafters,  I wanted to share with you this card I just finished making for my niece.  She just had her birthday and so the card will be a little late.  That's okay isn't it, it's the thought that counts right?   Anyway, she is turning 10 and is a major drama queen!  She really loves theatre and acting.

I am entering it into a challenge over at crafty sprouts with Erika Valdez. She has a challenge to make a shaped card. I think this is only my 3rd try at a shaped card. I love this cut from Once upon a princess and had to try it.  I thought it turned out really cute, and I hope my niece likes it.

Most of the paper is from my stash.  I used stickles on the crown and popped it up.  It really was a simple card to make, not much to it.

Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you next time!

Tanner (Little Man)

Here is another layout I did with my son's adorable pictures.  In this one he is such a cute little man.  I realized after I had completed the layout that I should have put "Little Man" for the title, oh well, I think it is still cute.
